In its fourth season as a varsity program, the Gloucester wrestling team is starting to become a stable program.
The Fishermen lost several key contributors from last year’s team to either graduation or transfer, but the team is stocked with seniors which has the team entering the season with a positive outlook.
“We have about 20 kids right now after some strong recruiting in the offseason,” head coach Matt Swanson said. “We have a full lineup and we have a lot of kids who are showing some promise.”
