Jaylon Brown got off to a blazing start Tuesday, scoring 19 points in the first half. The University of Evansville senior proved to be a good finisher, too.

Brown knifed to the basket for a layup with 13.3 seconds left to help the Aces hold off Bowling Green 69-66 in front of 3,513 at the Ford Center.

The Aces (5-4) ran an isolation play for Brown, who beat Zack Denny to the basket before help could arrive. Brown expected to dump off a pass once he reached the lane, but took the clear path to the rim instead.
