Dr. Victor F. Rueckl is proud to announce that Lakes Dermatology of Las Vegas has achieved the great honor of being accredited by the Physician Dispensing Association (PDA) for their point-of-care dispensing program. This tremendous achievement means that Lakes Dermatology can now dispense their own compounded prescription pharmaceuticals to their patients, thus ensuring the highest levels of customer service and care. This decision by the PDA represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded for point-of-care dispensing and shows that Lakes Dermatology has met the highest standards for quality and an ongoing commitment to pursuing excellence.
The accreditation by the Physicians Dispensing Association was bestowed upon Lakes Dermatology of Las Vegas after a peer review process that showed that the medical facility was fully committed to offering programs and services to their patients that met the highest levels of quality. In fact, this three-year accreditation shows that Lakes Dermatology has met or exceeded national quality standards. Patients no longer need to find a pharmacy to have a prescription filled as Lakes Dermatology can now dispense these compounded prescriptions on-site in a quality-controlled, USP-compliant lab setting. Not only does this three-year accreditation by the PDA allow for a greater level of patient convenience, but it can also often offer medications at lower prices than the cost of the average copay.
