Eastbound Interstate 90 was closed through Snoqualmie Pass for nearly two hours Monday afternoon due to what the State Patrol described as multiple semi-truck collisions that occurred east of the summit.
State Trooper Brian Moore tweeted about 1:45 p.m. that the eastbound side of the freeway was closed at milepost 47 near Denny Creek.
The state Department of Transportation reported that multiple spin-outs occurred in the snow.
Tow trucks arrived on scene and cleared the roadway for its reopening just before 3:30 p.m.
WSDOT advises motorists to use traction tires while traveling in both directions through the Pass.
