Hamish Watson eyes European glory against Stade Francais after success with Scotland in Autumn Tests


For ailing Edinburgh, the return of Hamish Watson is timely, to say the least. European giants Stade Francais lie in wait — and the Scots need to man the barricades with their star performers.

The specialist openside flanker came of age at international level during the Autumn Test series, although his absence for club duty was keenly felt.

Watson played the full 80 minutes in all three matches against Australia, Argentina and Georgia, and even scored his first Scotland try in the win over the latter.
