COLUMBUS, OHIO — On Sunday, Oct. 23, the Eastern Maryland Equestrian Association team of Ariah Lusk, Rachel Grabowski, and Peyton and Rylee Ridgely represented this area of Maryland at the 50th anniversary of the All-American Quarter Horse Congress, in Columbus, Ohio. It was the 4th consecutive year the team has competed in the National Youth Activity Team Tournament, and second consecutive year the team has scored.
This year there were 63 teams representing almost every state, and one from Ontario, Canada, in the one-day equestrian youth competition. From those, 417 youth were registered to compete in the tournament.
