New website offers information on Virginia’s opioid addiction crisis – WDBJ7


RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ7) The Virginia Attorney General’s Office has launched a new website it hopes will serve as a one-stop shop for people seeking information on Virginia’s opioid addiction crisis.

The centerpiece of is a documentary the office produced.

But it also includes information on heroin addiction, and local resources where people can get help.

“So many times I’ve talked to parents and they said once they learned their son or daughter was struggling with an addiction they didn’t know where to turn,” said Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, “and so this is a good way, one website,, where we can bring all of those resources all of that information together.”
