Sounders forward Jordan Morris spoke Thursday about his growth as a professional midway through his rookie year, the motivation of being left off the U.S. national team’s Copa America roster and the value of staying positive.
“It’s a huge difference,” Morris said. “It’s a different speed of play. As the games have gone on, I’ve felt more comfortable and more confident. I’m really a part of the team now. … I really enjoy coming out to practice every day. I look forward to the games. It’s a new me a few months in.”
