Target Corp. (TGT) Has Jumped To A 6-Month High On Strong Q3 Earnings


Target Corp. (TGT) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $1.04 Wednesday morning, up from $0.86 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.83. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $1.55 to $1.75. Target also increased its full year EPS forecast to between $5.10 and $5.30, from prior expectations of $4.80 to $5.20. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.60 and $4.94.

Target has gapped open sharply higher this morning and is now up 6.44 at $77.88 on above average volume. The stock has been climbing for the past week and has surged to a 6-month high.
