SAMI MOKBEL: Ipswich will launch a £500,000 swoop for Blackpool’s talented playmaker Brad Potts next month.
The Tractor Boys are among a host of Championship club’s tracking the 22-year-old central attacking midfielder.
Scouts have been flocking to Blackpool’s game this season with a view to watching Potts, who has already made close to 200 career appearances despite his young age.
And the former England Under 19 star will come will be the subject of intense interest next month when the transfer window reopens.
Blackpool paid Carlisle £250,000 for Potts in 2015 and are hesitant to lose their influential star.
But anything over £500,000, which would see the club double their money on the player, could be enough to tempt the Tangerines into selling.
Potts has already scored eight goals from 22 appearances this season, an impressive tally from midfield.
